The World's End is a collaboration between Chef Spike Waltzer and Fern and Mark Smith. Spike, a San Francisco-based catering chef, photographer and web designer has traveled extensively throughout the US, Europe and Asia and brings 17 years of culinary experience to The World's End's kitchen. Mark and Fern own and manage The Dive Inn Diving School in Chaloklum and Mark has years of experience diving in Europe and Asia. Our staff includes Chef Spike, Tio, formerly of Tio's Restaurant, Suzy, lead singer of The Twots and Da.
We are open from 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM for breakfast and lunch and from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM for dinner and drinks. We are located in Chaloklum village, in the north of Koh Phangan island, and we are directly opposite Chaloklum Pier.
Our menu includes a full English breakfast, Eggs Benedict, fresh babs, baguettes, bagels and croissants and filter coffee and british tea. For Lunch and Dinner you can choose from our Daily Specials or The World's End's delicious signature dishes. We specialize in 'Foods of the World', and you can taste Chef Spike's collection of international specialities including Mexican Enchiladas, Indian Curries, Moussaka & Greek salad, Calamari, Coq au Vin, Cordon Bleu, Pastas, Lasagne, Steaks, Chops, Roasts, homemade Sauces & Gravy, and Pies. We use only the freshest local and imported ingredients, we cook from 'scratch', and our motto is 'Quality comes first'.
